5 Lakh Mobile Phones Sold in 10 Hours by Flipkart!
BIG BILLION DAYS! Which was started on Tuesday of this week and last up to Saturday, i.e 17 October, 2015.
Flipkart says, it has sold 5 lakh, i.e half a billion mobile phone in just 10 hours!!
This has now set a
record, by selling such a huge number
of mobile phones in such a short period of time.
There were great offers on mobile phones on Thursday.
As 4G has has set foot on India, 75% of the mobiles sold by Flipkart were 4G enabled phone.
There were huge number of sales from tier-2 cities like, Indore, Nagpur, Jaipur, Vishakapatnam and Coimbatore, apart from tier-1 cities like Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi. India is developing!!

"It has been a blockbuster beginning for our mobile category sale. The half a million mobile handsets sale record is truly a testament to the growing demand for smartphones in India," Mukesh Bansal, Head of Commerce Platform, Flipkart said.
Around 25% of people thought of upgrading their mobile phones with Flipkart's awesome exchange offers.
There were lots of other offer, for particular Bank's, credit and debit cards.
25 items were sold per second, with six million visitors.
