Google Images: Improve Your Search with these handy Search Tools (with Pictures)

Many Google users, who use Google Images for searching images of their choice, but many of us aren't aware of many awesome features offered by Google to to improve and custom Google Image search.



"Search Tools", the tab with lots of beautiful features, let me explain you all of them.

Where can you find the "Search Tools"? Search for some images, then you will find this tab below the search bar, Look at the image below, to find exactly where it appears.

I have searched for "flowers", and will explain you each tab.

If you click "Search tools", this is what you see(check the image below).

1. Size: the first tab is the 'Size' tab, which helps you to define the size of the image you are looking for. I also has sub-tabs which consists of, 'Large', 'Medium', 'Icon', 'Larger than...' and 'Exactly...', with the help of all these you can pre-define the size of the images you are searching. Checkout the image below!

2. Color: As the name says, it helps to pre-define the color of the image you are searching for. Check below image, I have searched for 'flowers' and also selected 'Black and white' from the drop-down.

3. Type: In this drop-down menu, you'll find options which says, 'Face', 'Photo', 'Clip art', 'Line drawing' and 'Animated'. I have selected the 'Face' option, check the image below.

4. Time: It helps to sort the image search by date or time.

5. Usage rights: This comes in handy when you are searching for images which are not copyright protected.

6. More tools: The last one, it has only two options for now. It shows the size of the images appeared.
