Get Vehicle Owner & Loan Details Online

Government of Karnataka, Department of transport has an on-line portal where you can check the owner's name, hypothecation or loan details, fitness certificate (FC) validity and tax details, you can even check the number of owners the vehicle had.

Procedure below:

• Visit the portal by clicking here or you can go directly to the site http://164.100.80.164/vehiclesearch/

• Select any option out of the three provided, ie Registration Number or Chassis Number or Engine Number, any one of the three is enough.

• If you have selected Registration No. option, then enter the details in specified format, example: KA01AB in first "box" and the vehicle number in the second "box"

• Enter the captcha and click on search
• Done! Vehicle details will be displayed.

This procedure is for vehicles registered in Karnataka only.
